Creating a Profile
Before you start selling, it is important that you create a profile. Try and make your profile as professional as you can because your profile is how you represent yourself.
After signing up, head over to “My Account” where you will complete and customise your profile.
On your personal dashboard, go to “Settings”, there are options to help you create your profile. Complete your profile as best as you can.
Username: When you sign up, the system creates a unique username for you. On Settings under “username”, you have an option to use a different “display name, one that will be displayed on your profile.
Profile Picture: You can either choose from the ones available or upload your own profile picture. We recommend that you add your personal profile picture to put that personal touch to your profile.
Description: Let buyers know about your skills and expertise or anything you wish them to know. This will help you gain trust from potential buyers.
Creating a Gig
When creating a gig, have a buyer in mind. Provide buyers with all the information they could need to help them decide to do business with you.
Pricing Plan
You can setup your gigs with custom pricing and add-ons. You can offer three different service bundles to sell on your gig page. This a great way to provide buyers with more choice, and to push your order value higher. Buyers can also make an offer. Think of it as a way for a buyer to haggle the price and generate more sales for the seller.
Add-ons
This feature gives you the ability to offer your customers additional paid add-ons. This allows you to set yourself apart from the competition and maximize your revenue. Think about this carefully
Upgrades
As the platform grows, the competition will be too high and your gigs might not get enough exposure. You can upgrade your gig to increase its exposure and visibility using these paid upgrades:
Featured – Featured ads are highlighted in search results and shown 10x more often than standard ads.
Sponsored – Sponsored ads are shown on rotation at the top of the search results page.
Homepage – Have your ad appear on our homepage and seen by thousands of people.
Boost – Appear at the top of all search results for 24 hours.
