For example, you could write for a magazine, blog for a website, or help out with graphic design projects. If you have a skill in a specific area, you can also look for freelance opportunities in that area. For example, if you are a writer, you may be able to find freelance writing jobs.

Background removal on photos

Background removal is a process that is used to remove unwanted objects from photos. This can be done with a variety of software, but the most popular solution is probably Adobe Photoshop. Various professions or occupations require the pictures and images they are promoting to look unique and perfect/professional.

Coming up with brand names or slogans

Coming up with a brand name or slogan may sound like an easy thing to do that anyone can just do. Believe me, there are many people who struggle with this (including me) and wouldn’t mind paying someone for it. If you think/know that you are good in it, why not make money while at it.

If you have excellent attention to detail and knowledge of grammar and punctuation in your language(s), then this is for you. You can build a career as a freelance subtitle. Subtitle translation services are mostly required by media companies who need subtitles in multiple languages for their movies and videos.

Data entry

Most data entry jobs need at least Matric, well versed in the operation of MS-Word,Ms-Excel and MS-Power point (additional) as well as have good typing skill and (speed) in a computer. But this depends with different industries. Some industries require some qualifications. But this is another one you can consider if you think you can do it.

Photo retouching is basically to remove certain defects from an image. This can be minor objects such as dust or dirt on the camera lens or sensor. Retouching can be used to remove some physical defects on the skin of a model as seen commonly in fashion publications.

Choosing a freelancing gigs to take on is dependant on skills you are either gifted/passionate with or skills that you are learning. Whatever that you choose, you must be willing to put in the time and hard work to consistently improving your skills. You have to prove to clients and potential clients that you are worth the rates you’re charging.
