Rizegigs deducts a fee of 10% from Freelancer earnings up to a total of R100,000 per client. Once the R100,000 threshold is reached for a particular client, the fee will be reduced to 5% for that client going forward.
Example: A freelancer works with a new client on Rizegigs and agrees R1 000 for the project.
Rizegigs platform fee will be R1 000 x 10% = R100.
The freelancer will therefore receive R900.
Buyers pay a 5% processing fee on top of all payments made to freelancers. As the platform continues to grow and our transaction volume increases we might lower our fees.
Example: A buyer works with a new freelancer on a job which is posted on Rizegigs for R100.
The payment processing fee will be R100 x 5% = R5.
Therefore the client’s total fee will be R105.
*You may not offer Sellers to pay, or make payment using any method other than through the rizegigs.co.za site. In case you have been asked to use an alternative payment method, please report it immediately to Customer Support.
